I set up my consultancy business after a successful career in the City of London of more than twenty-five years. My experience includes senior roles in FTSE250 listed companies, as well as ten years as a top-ranked investment analyst. In corporate advisory roles I have helped companies address strategic challenges including IPOs, M&A, and investor engagement, as well as working alongside management and Boards through the transition from private to public ownership and vice versa.
I now specialise in helping organisations develop and execute strategic plans, whether through undertaking specific projects, providing consultancy services or serving as a Non-Executive Director.
I have a sound understanding of finance and corporate governance. During my career I have also been a director of two start-up businesses, and developed and managed a highly successful research franchise.
I have expertise in financial services, particularly non-life insurance and reinsurance, but my skills are highly relevant to any business sector. I am especially interested in working with hi-tech and scientific businesses.
A Cambridge graduate, I am also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance and a graduate of the FT Non-Executive Director’s Diploma.
