I began my career as a Lloyd’s broker, and as an investment analyst my focus was also on non-life insurance.  I have held senior roles in a major London broker and insurer. Consequently I have detailed knowledge of Lloyd’s and the London commercial insurance and reinsurance market,  and an understanding of the strategic challenges of achieving profitable growth in highly competitive markets served by plentiful capital.  I am also familiar with the regulatory environment and strategic risk management.   In addition to my practical experience I am also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance.
